Listen:  I finally got the dissertation done. I am not entirely satisfied with it, but there are some runs I do feel particularly confident in. Part of my argument is that our old friend Ken Wilber is a more significant influence on what is now called "mindfulness" than is acknowledged by scholars or promoters of mindfulness, and that said influence has a certain significance.

Mindfulness is significant for reasons that promoters of mindfulness tend not to acknowledge.
